Exhibitions take energy efficient technologies to homeowners in 2013

The team behind the award-winning Renewables Roadshow is launching a new series of exhibitions designed to support industry’s efforts in increasing consumer uptake of energy efficient technologies.

Dan Caesar of the Energy Efficient Home Shows said, “We work with thousands of contractors, installers, manufacturers & merchants, all of whom are determined to take energy efficient technologies from the margins to the mainstream. We strongly believe the Energy Efficient Home Shows can make that happen.”

While the dates and venues of the Energy Efficient Home Shows will not be released until 1 June, it is anticipated the exhibitions will make energy efficient technologies more accessible by visiting various regions across the UK. Furthermore, content that educates consumers is expected to be a core component of the exhibitions.

“We’ve designed the Energy Efficient Home Shows to bridge the knowledge gap that currently exists. For example, research demonstrates that while a high number of homeowners are interested in energy efficiency, a surprisingly low number of consumers understand the subject. In our educational theatres we will explain the Energy Performance Certificate, go through the Green Deal and clarify what energy efficient technologies work in which situations.” Caesar added.

A launch event for the Energy Efficient Home Shows will be hosted at the Ricoh Arena, at the heart on 31 May and businesses that are interested in exhibiting or partnering should get in touch.
